Palace: 4-day work week, wage subsidy proposals ‘under consideration’
Proposals for a four-day workweek and the P24-billion wage subsidy to help workers cope with soaring fuel prices and commodities are “under consideration” of President Rodrigo Duterte, Malacañang said Wednesday.
Acting presidential spokesperson Martin Andanar said those proposed programs require careful study and should be “balanced” thoroughly.
“’Yan ay under consideration ng ating Pangulo in case na tumaas pa nang husto ang presyo ng langis sa pandaigdigang merkado,” he said in a Palace briefing.
(Those are still under consideration of our President in case the prices of fuel will continue to increase.)
“Pag-aaralan pa nang husto kailangan balansehin nang husto ang mga suhestiyon ng iba’t ibang department,” Andanar added
